come and explore the wonderful world of harping! This comprehensive one-to-one introduction to non-pedal (or folk) harp will let you become familiar with the Scottish clarsach and the Paraguayan harp, teach you safe basic harp playing technique, allow you to play simple chords and tunes and show you how to best obtain and look after an instrument
the course fee (£260) includes two nights' accommodation and six hours' tuition over two days, plus the loan of a harp for the duration of your stay

making progress with the tin whistle
post-beginners to intermediate
is your whistle playing needing an injection of vroom? Have you taught yourself but now feel ready to stretch yourself further and learn more? This one-to-one course will help polish your playing and performance skills on the high and/or low whistle by examining tune re-call, breath control, phrasing, ornamentation and set building. You'll also have the chance to expand your repertoire in exciting and exotic ways and you can even choose to attend a local evening session!
the course fee (£260) includes two nights' accommodation and six hours' tuition over two days. Whistles can be loaned for the duration of the course, although it's best to bring your own instruments with you if possible
